Basket Weaver’s Journey Through the World of Weaves

As a basket weaver, I spend most of my days twisting, tucking, looping, and lashing natural materials into shape. My hands know the rhythm of a good weave better than any metronome. But when I leave my studio, I don’t leave my eyes behind — and let me tell you, once you see the weave, you see it everywhere.

So, here’s a peek into the world through my eyes — the eyes of a weaver — where I spot woven wonders in the wild. From the expected to the totally unexpected, these moments remind me how ancient, beautiful, and universal the woven form really is.
